We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Road & Warehouse Manager based in our site in Parkes, NSW. This is a key leadership position reporting to the NSW Regional Manager, this position will be responsible for performing the below in a timely, accurate and efficient manner:
Managing daily warehouse operations including receivals, dispatch, storage, and freight management
Maintaining a clean, organised and hazard-free warehouse environment
Supervising the loading and unloading of freight ensuring damage reduction strategies are fulfilled
Liaising with drivers, transport providers and rail operations to ensure timely and compliant freight movements
Collaborating with rail operations, customers and internal stakeholders to meet service expectations
Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, safety and cost control
Reporting all incidents, hazards and near misses promptly and ensuring completion of reports in our Incident Reporting System - Donesafe
Fostering a high-performing, safety-first culture with strong communication and teamwork
Managing employee relations in line with company policies and industrial agreements
Monitoring team compliance with WHS standards, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and NHVR requirements
