Reporting to Customer Service Supervisor, the position includes the following responsibilities:
Communicating with the client, managing customer freight requirements, concerns, and enquiries.
Maintaining open lines of communication at all levels (internally and externally)
To assist in the removal of all paperwork for clients requiring bookings from all of the manifests for incoming freight.
To ensure that all freight that requires a booking time slot for delivery is booked in time to align with customer requirements.
To provide customers with correct information in a timely manner.
To assist manager(s) and other staff when required
Liaise with customers with any queries relating to incoming/outgoing freight
Provide a backup in the areas of bookings to major customers and discrepancies relating to deliveries

An understanding of the Transport and Warehouse Industry in general.
Clear (written & oral) communication skills.

High level of computer skills & exceptional attention to detail.
High level of Microsoft Excel skills.

Cert III In Customer Service
