We are looking for an experienced Container Reach Stack Operator within our Intermodal/Container division on afternoon shift. Competitive hourly rate with afternoon shift penalties, and regular overtime available.

Reporting to the Intermodal Manager, this position includes the following responsibilities: 

  • Loading and unloading of containers from trucks, trains and temporary storage
  • Great team work skills in a environment that can have competing priorities 
  • Perform all duties as per SCT policies and procedures, and legislation as applicable 
  • Work in a safe manner with a proactive approach to safety
  • Conduct themselves in a manner that ensures SCT is recognised as safe, reliable and a quality supplier of related services
  • Flexibility to rostered times to accommodate train schedules 
  • Report all Incidents/Hazards to immediate Supervisor and into the reporting systems
  • Participate in Risk Assessments, Inspections and Operational meetings as required
