HC Truck Driver required on either a full time or casual basis for our Refrigerated Transport Division at SCT Logistics Perth.
Afternoon shift - Monday to Friday, 13:00 to 23:06 with overtime penalties, and weekend overtime available from time to time.
Reporting to the Refrigeration Manager for WA. the position includes the following responsibilities:
Delivery of SCT Trailers & Containers to metro DC’s - on and off the loading docks.
Movement of containers, trailers around the yard as required.
Complete daily vehicle inspections, maintain a daily truck log and record of customer deliveries and pickups.
Sort delivery run sheets and Proof of Delivery paperwork.
Restrain loads as per the National Load Restraint Guide.
Check accuracy of Palletised and packed loads.
Ensure compliance with all SCT Company Safety policies, procedures and applicable state and federal legislation
Operate MT DATA or similar Fleet Management system.
Provide a high level of customer service to our valued customers.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
HC License
Current Commercial Vehicle Driver Medical
Fatigue regulations certificate.
Commercial driving experience in the Perth Metro area
Able to pass a pre-employment medical & fitness assessment
Physically fit to be pulling curtains, strapping loads and other manual tasks
Ability to prioritize assigned tasks in real time and adapt to changing requirements
Competent at reversing & trailing hitching/unhitching on finger docks.
Safe vehicle operations
Refrigeration experience is desired but not required.
